What to Bring?

  • Sports attire appropriate for activity (shorts, tracksuits, t-shirts, AFL or local club jerseys).

  • Runners/boots (children bringing footy boots need to bring alternative runners to wear indoors or in case of rain etc).

  • A clearly labelled water bottle.

  • Wet weather gear (jacket etc).

  • SunSmart clothing and equipment (brimmed hat, sunscreen and long sleeved, lightweight attire).

  • Personal medication in original packaging (including a health management plan issued by a medical practitioner). 
  • Signing and photograph items (club supporter gear, pens/textas, cameras).

Bookings cancelled within 24 hours prior to the training session will incur a 100% charge.

Bookings cancelled 24-48 hours prior to the training session will incur a 50% charge.

If there is a last minute emergency and you need to cancel, you must contact a Next Gen Sports Academy staff member directly on the phone to discuss the situation. These situations will be
dealt with on a case to case basis.

Extreme Weather

Extreme weather may be defined as including, weather that threatens the immediate or long-term safety of individuals, because of heat, rain, lightening, wind, or other unusual or unpredictable weather conditions.

In the event of inclement or extreme weather the directors of Next Gen Sports Academy will re-schedule organised clinics, in order to protect participants and coaches from exposure to the elements or physical stress.

Parents/Guardians will be notified via a group text or email as to the cancellation of an event and further information will be provided about a re-scheduled date.

Nut Free Policy

Protect our participants with life threatening food allergies by keeping our clinics peanut and tree nut free. Sharing of food is also prohibited.

Sun Smart

Participants are encouraged to use a combination of sun protection measures when participating in clinics from September to April. (sun protective clothing, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen)

First Aid

Coaches are qualified with Level 2 First Aid, providing practical skills and knowledge, including management of:

  • CPR
  • application of a Defibrillator
  • bandaging and splinting
  • burns, poisons, bites and stings
  • head, neck and spinal injuries
  • wounds and bleeding
  • choking and shock
  • anaphylaxis and asthma


Behaviour Policy

a) Play for enjoyment.

b) Play by the rules.

c) Never argue.

d) Control your temper.

f) Work equally hard for yourself and your fellow participants.

g) Treat all participants as you would like to be treated.

h) Co-operate with your coach and other participants.

Refund Policy

Under no circumstance will a cash refund be issued, only credit. Refunds relating to inability to complete services, non-attendance or suspension of services are at the discretion of Next Gen Sports Academy. All credit must be used within 12 months of the date of issue and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. All credit must be arranged within 28 days of the clinic session completion.
